Gael Rouvroy - PhD, CEO & Director of Technology Founder, Board Member

 Leading expert in FPGA design Gael’s specializations are secure and reconfigurable hardware encoders and decoders, cryptographic hardware, block ciphers, DRM, watermarking, image and video compression. Gael Rouvroy is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of intoPIX. He holds an electronics and mechanics engineering Master Degree and PhD from the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium). His responsibility is to define, manage the research & development projects. Gael is active in several standardisation committees and has presented over 20 papers on security, watermarking, compression and design strategies for cost effective and low power implementations.


Alain Wislet - CFO/COO

Alain is the Chief Financial & Operating Officer of intoPIX since 2010. Hired in 2007 as General Manager of this technological spin-off from the Catholic University of Louvain, its missions are to organize, develop and ensure the sustainability of the company.Civil engineering degree from the University of Liège, Alain began his career as an IT manager in charge of the implementation of ERP systems in the SMEs of the Aspel group. In 2002, he was appointed Finance and Administration Manager of the group.  The main strengths of Alain are its analytical and organizational skills, his reliability and his intellectual curiosity. His current interests are the corporate governance and the people development.

A history of generating fast revenue growth, enhancing global market share, and developing innovative and comprehensive technology solutions. Enthusiastic, driven, proactive team leader with proven ability to build strong strategic relationships with both industry powerhouses and promising start-ups. Introduce new business models to the technology industry, negotiate favorable agreements / IPR licenses, and leverage a unique combination of executive, communication, networking, customer-oriented, and hands-on expertise.



Jean-Baptiste Lorent
- Director of Marketing & Sales

Strategist, Marketer and Agile Product Leader attracted and motivated by entrepreneurship, team management, technology and innovation, Jean-Baptiste joined intoPIX in 2007. He likes to setup, develop & execute product marketing strategies & business development tactics for technology products in electronics & audio-visual industries. He has a strong effectiveness to capture the voice of the market and customer to drive product development and communication. He manages agile product development, being referred as the Product Owner, representing the product to the customer. He is also active in different standardization committees in the audio-visual industry.



Pascal Pellegrin
- Senior Hardware Manager - Agile ScrumMaster

Experienced FPGA application designer and deeply process-oriented, Pascal joined the intoPIX development team in its early days in 2006. He likes to share his experience with newcomers and external teams through guidelines, examples and methodologies. He truly believes in Agile methodologies to improve development teams productivity by heading to valuable, simple and robust designs. Constantly analysing internal and external feedbacks, he proposes effective and sustainable solutions to organize teams and create tools to best serve the Users of intoPIX IP cores. He is also deeply implicated in algorithmic research for image and video compression.

World expert in the fields of image compression, image processing, image analysis, has initiated and lead the initial team research program since 2000.
